hello there. |
Original Info: Ok so I just am really trying to get in shape. I want to try and get the perfect body. We will see what happens because I love food, ice cream especially. Update!! So I am currently 15 pounds lighter than when I started on August 24, 2010!!! I am currently maintaining my weight of 120 lbs, but would like to be at 117/118 ideally, although I am happy to be where I am. I feel so accomplished and believe that you can achieve ANYTHING if you work hard! I achieved this by working out and eating a healthy diet. No binging, No purging, No starving. Just plain diet and exercise! I feel happier and healthier since i have made the choice to get in shape and encourage anyone else to go this route! Anonymous asked: why do you eat under 1,000 calories??
Normally I don’t. I try to take in the same amount as I burn, but I am trying to lose weight really quickly, so I feel like in order to do this it is better to stay just at a little under 1000. Everyone’s body is different and everyone has different goals they want to achieve, so I wouldn’t recommend doing this unless you know it’s right for you. I was a bit obsessive last year over my calories intake and it got to be too unhealthy because I was at my ideal weight, but was eating 600-700 calories a day, which is super unhealthy. I noticed my hair was a bit thinner and my nails were chipping easier and were thinner as well. I have always had thick hair and strong nails so that scared me, which made me start eating normally again. Calorie intake is tricky sometimes. I am not a dietitian or anything, I just try to guestimate what I need to take in in order to get to the physique that I want. I could go on and on about calories….there are 3500 calories in a pound so you need to burn or eat that many less calories in order to lose one pound. So eating 500 less calories/burning 500 more calories a day will allow you to lose 1 pound a week…
